Introduction

SecureTX is a great service for sending and receiving documents and text securely. If, for example, you are a candidate for a job or buying a house you will need to provide documentation to prove your identity. If you send these documents via email or instant messenger then they are probably just going to sit around in an inbox or chat log forever. Can you be sure that the inbox or chat log will be managed securely in the long term? Scans of personal identity documents like passports and driving licences are very valuable to scammers. Once you've sent them you've lost control of them. Is that ok with you?

In addition to documents, sometimes you need to send bank account details or passwords as text. It simply not secure to send them in plain text in emails or chats.

With SecureTX you don't send the document or text but instead you send a secure link via email. The link is secured with a passphrase which you can pass on to the recipient separately. Importantly, the link is time limited. Even with the passphrase, the link is useless after the expiry time, typically 24 hours.

All data is encrypted on our platform using the best available industry standard techniques and we don't ever store passphrases in plain text. That means that even if somebody obtained the file, they would not be able to read the contents of the file.
